Summer dining – take the light approach

This lovely Scottish summer weather has certainly been a rarity but we’re loving it at Boclair. Our seasonal dishes from our latest menu are certainly have encompassed a range of summer tastes.

Plus, al fresco dining at Boclair is something we’re actually getting used to – the external dining area at our Annbel’s Restaurant is simply splendid for taking in some summer sun with a couple of refreshments. Head over to our drinks menu here for a browse through our drinks menu – we highly recommend the Coconut Swizzle – a real summer favourite!

But it’s not all about enjoy cocktails in the summer sun, why not try our new starter – Crab Tortellini served in a crab bisque with fresh herbs and créme fraîche – a delicious starter if we don’t say so ourself.

For mains, why not try our delicious Sea Trout dish – sea trout fillet, charred leek on a base of Cullen skink sauce – a super fresh dish that’s perfect for a summers evening. Pair this with our wine recommendation – an Italian Grave Del Friuli Pinot Grigio Borgo Tesis, Fantinel – notes of apples, peach and pear are all present in this wonderful wine – divine!
